The Gift
Read Cecelia Ahern's 'The Gift' seeing that Christmas is coming and the story is set in the christmas season (yea right, it was because the cover made the book look like a pretty present) felt it wasn't as good as her others that she wrote. it's kindda draggy, shown from different viewpoints, but the message was effectively translated in the last chapter. i'm just left wondering, who exactly is Gabe?? left to guess and conclude..Thursday, November 25, 2010 Some of Gabe's inspiring words: 'beggers can't be choosers, is it to say choosers can be beggers?' 'time can't be given, but it can be shared' 'that makes time more precious..than money, than anything..you can never earn more time..once an hour goes by, a week, a month, a year, you'll never get them back...' and the most heart felt words in the whole book.. Lucy: 'will you love me when i'm naughty?' Lou: 'when you're naughty remember that daddy is somewhere always hoping that you'll be the best that you can be...' i still like 'If you could see me now' and 'A place called Here' Labels: book said my piece at 11:53 am
