wonderfully made
was really bored the other night when i got my hands on a measuring tape that my mum was using. i'm sure you've all heard of how our body is proportionally made and how certain body parts are of equal lengths to others. soooo....like i said, i was bored, so i tested it all out!!! wahaha! (with some help from my mother...)Thursday, July 16, 2009 here goes.. most common thing you'll see at the pasar malam or at sales, the aunties 'trying on' the pants using their neck. my waist is (give an allowance of an inch or two) is twice my neck! next common thing is measuring socks for their kiddies with their fist. the circumference of my fist is about 8.5inches..my feet is aboutt 9inches! another way of testing if the socks or shoes will fit is using the length of your arm. think its even more accurate. its 9inches too! learnt this from an auntie at bugis street. she said using the length of the tip of your fist to your elbow is roughly the size of bottom that you wear. so....length of fist to elbow, approx 13.5inches; hip or around there, approx 29inches. eh..give allowance quite accurate whats..especially when you cant try the clothes on =/ this not very accurate..the length of your hand equals to that of your face. my hand is 6.7inches..but my face is 8inches!!! %#$@% why my face sooo big =.= lastly, your legs are suppose to be twice the length of your body. i'm too lazy to measure it again...but yea, i think i'm about there..haha! obviously i cannot measure to see if one fist=heart or two fist=brain..lols But, dont you think we are soo wonderfully and precisely made??!? coolness or whats. =DD Labels: random said my piece at 1:50 pm
